What is Love Actually?

Is it an emotion or COULD IT BE WHO & WHAT WE ACTUALLY ARE?

From my earliest memories I was always pondering… What is LOVE actually? What is it really for? And why oh why did I need to know? 

Most of us think LOVE means the love we feel for another, often expressed as the joy we feel when our emotions are in harmony within our relationships.

You are not alone, even the modern dictionary deciphers 'Love' as ‘love for another person’ or for ‘another object’. OMG!!

The true essence of LOVE has been disguised for eons.  Why you may ask, because LOVE is the most 'Powerful Energy' that exists in this present time.

Yes it can...especially if we choose to live from our heart space and create our life from this space of LOVE.

When we align our consciousness with the Collective Loving Consciousness, there is nothing we can not do.

Think about this, or is that FEEL about this…

Have you ever questioned what the ‘Essence of Love’ is, in its purest form?

It is the most beautiful 'Essence of You' your SOuL Essence.

LOVE is the fabric of all living creation; people, plants, stars, sky including the universe and galaxies.

To experience what LOVE really is – feel YOU ARE LOVE

When you grasp the ‘Energy of Love’ your every day life develops a powerful and loving mechanism to support your every day life.

Know YOU have the power to be the Loving Conscious Energy you were born to be.

Whilst expanding your awareness and accepting you are an Essence of Love your mind and heart energy may oscillate somewhere in between both spectrums but with a little practice you will live more and more within the energy of your higher consciousness

Pop on your LOVE goggles and accept….

All life is Energy, Frequency, and Vibration – therefore it can move. We can hear you - my body is a solid form…. Is it?  Your body is constantly renewing itself therefore it moves.

 
 

A Conscious Practice

Take a breath into your heart space (in the centre of your chest) allowing yourself to relax and let go.  

With your next breath, breathe a little deeper into your heart space and as you release feel your energy flowing out of your heart space and cycling through your entire body.

With your next breath bring your energy back into the centre of your heart space.

See what happens when you make this a daily practice.  If this is a new experience begin with one round gradually increasing to 10 minutes. Always only do what is comfortable for you. This simple practice has the potential to change your life.

The more you practice the more you will experience your own Love. From this loving space you will feel and know your full potential.

Leadership Qualities and Emotional Stability

Are You A True Leader?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar says real leaders need two qualities, one of the head and one of the heart.

That is  Sensibility of the Head and Sensitivity of Heart.

Often in the feminine leadership model we witness a woman operating completely from the sensibility standpoint, very rational and logical, coming more from the masculine without opening to her feminine sensitivity.

Then on the flipside we can witness the ultra sensitive female leader who doesn’t last for long because her sensitivity becomes emotional instability.

The question becomes how do you be Sensitive and Sensible all at the same time?

There are two keys to Emotional Stability

1. Be Responsible for Your Emotions

I’ve heard this many times and I’m sure you have too

“Someone made me feel like this" & "someone made me feel like that"

It simply isn’t true because no-one can MAKE YOU feel a certain way!

Another person can only trigger a set of patterns and behaviors within you that make you react a certain way. It is time to break this patterning and become emotionally responsible and stable.

2. Open Your Heart

Emotional stability comes from having an open heart. Having an open heart for yourself and having empathy and compassion for others.

Now I know, because I’ve witnessed it, there are many of you who are either creating emotional storms (mini tornadoes) for others or you are somehow caught in someone elses tornado! How did that happen - is it due to your own emotional instability?

Their desires and emotions are greater than your own desire to follow your hopes, your dreams, and be a leader.

When your heart is OPEN (truly) it is impossible to be emotionally unstable.

To experience the storm and your feminine craziness your heart must be closed and this is how you are easily lead away from your true path.

A feminine leader who has a beautiful balance of sensitivity and sensibility is Marianne Williamson. When I’ve been in Marianne’s presence she has been compassionate to herself and others and she speaks and acts with reason and logic. She is an incredibly powerful and sensitive woman.

Now is your time. Open to your sensitivity and sensibility and be a Leader.

Love In Relationships: The 3 Stages of Love

Unconditional Love or Horse-Trading in Your Relationship?

Are you experiencing the level of depth and connection in your intimate relationship that you deserve?

Your intimate relationship can bring you the greatest pleasures in your life but it can also deliver heartache, resentment and frustration.

There are 3 Stages of Love in Relationship:

  1. Baby Love
  2. Conditional Love &
  3. Unconditional Love

Stage 1: Baby Love

‘It’s all about me’

This is Selfish Love and the complete DANGER ZONE in relationships and typically where they end.

He doesn’t do this, he’s not doing that and there is never a reflection as to what you’re not doing for him.

This is no place to be in a relationship. Go deeper and open yourself. Practice self-love and nurturing first so your own love tank is full to enable you to give to your partner.

Stage 2: Conditional Love

‘Horse-trading’

This is the Partnership. At its best you’re great friends and its worst you’re trading everything to get what you want!

“I’ll do something for you, if you do something for me”

In the Partnership you’ll likely spend many years together but the DANGER here is you’ll lose all polarity in your relationship and your intimacy.

Often, in search of polarity, the women will become more Masculine and controlling and the man more Feminine.

At this stage you’re shutting each other down rather than opening each other up.

Stage 3: Unconditional Love

‘Giving & Expansion’

This is about GIVING, loving your partner unconditionally, being in Presence and seeing them for who they truly are.

“Your needs are my needs”

Unconditional Love is where the beauty exists and your relationship expands you. On the masculine feminine journey you take each other even further than you could go by yourself.

I learnt these originally from Tony Robbins and I have witnessed many relationships grow into Unconditional Love and Fulfillment.

Calling In Your Soulmate

The very beautiful topic of calling in your soul mate!

Firstly some wisdom from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He says

"In order to know your soul mate you must first of all know your own soul." 

This means you must know thyself. You must be open to honoring yourself and knowing who you truly are.

My 3 Steps for Calling in Your Soul Mate are

1. Be Specific
2. Be Open
3. Take Action

1. Be Specific

Write a list of everything you desire in your soul mate.
What are his Values?
What are his Qualities?
What do you do together?
What does your life look like together?

Tip: Make sure you are really specific and note he is a male if you are looking for a male. It’s easy to call in your next best girlfriend – it happens! 

2. Be Open

Be open.

And look at what you’re resisting within yourself.

What are you not loving or honoring within yourself?

Honor and love yourself. Treat yourself the way you expect your soul mate to treat you. Treat yourself with love and respect

Open to Yourself So You Can Open to Him

3. Take Action

This is about being open to him and doing what you love to do. You don’t have to hunt him down.

Get out of the house and do the things you love to do. You can put up an online profile but only if that feels right for you.

Wherever you are happy you will attract him.

I believe you are destined to meet your soul mate. Allow for divine order and divine timing.

Keep opening, love yourself more, know what you want, and enjoy your life and then it will happen.

Open to his energy

Have faith and trust that he is coming and he will.

Sungazing came to us from the Aztecs and Egyptians. The Shamans and the Priests used this practice through the ages for Enlightenment.

It also naturally increases your happy hormones (melatonin and serotonin) and can decrease depression.

The sun lights you up and darkness can no longer exist

Another benefit is weight loss!

Connecting with nature is one of the great gifts we have. It brings you back to your centre and your connection.

How to Manifest...Are You Resisting or Receiving?

Are You Resisting or Receiving?

If you are not receiving all you desire in your life it is most likely because you are experiencing some resistance within you stopping your MANIFESTATION abilities.

To RECEIVE

You must be OPEN

And

You must ALLOW

‘To Open’ and ‘To Allow’ begin energetically within you.

Being OPEN is to be without resistance and judgment. This is about letting go and simply opening the space within you for good to come to you.

And ALLOWING is without control. That is not attempting to control every little detail of your life and what, how, when you want to receive.

Allowing means living with faith and trust and being in Presence.

And then RECEIVING is the physical act, the manifestation of what you have been open to and allowed into your life.

So What is Resistance? 

There can be the major resistance of feeling worthy and deserving of what you truly desire. This requires a change in your Belief Systems and to Believe in Yourself.

Then there is the subtle resistance to become aware of.

You might want to fall in love with your soul mate but you’re resisting the possibility of losing yourself in another person, your lifestyle, or quite likely in fear of being rejected.

You might want to grow your business and increase profitability but you’re resisting becoming busy, a change in your lifestyle or your yearning for more time with your family.

How to Experience True Happiness Through Practicing Gratitude

Let me ask you…

How do you truly experience gratitude in your life?

Gratitude is the foundation for your happiness, for opening your heart and bringing you into presence.

Practicing gratitude daily is the greatest gift you can give yourself and it will change your life (I don’t say this lightly).

Not only does it bring you happiness but it is an excellent discipline for your mind.

When you give your mind ‘gratitude’ to focus on, everything in your life shifts.

Simply form a NEW HABIT of SWITCHING to GRATITUDE each time you become aware of a negative thought that isn’t serving you.

You will notice how your life comes into alignment as you SWITCH to GRATITUDE. Even for the simple things in life.

Take the time to practice gratefulness everyday.

It doesn’t require pen and paper (although having a gratitude journal is a beautiful exercise) it simply takes a moment to a few minutes to be grateful.

To practice gratitude start with everything you are grateful for in yourself, then move out to your family, your friends, your community, your experiences and your life’s journey.

In this week’s video you will learn how to practice gratitude, how to focus on your relationships with gratitude (even if they’re difficult), and how to share your gratitude.

Today we answer the question “How do you Forgive People and Situations that have hurt you?”

When you are not able to forgive a situation or person you are enslaving yourself to the past. This lack of forgiveness blocks your energy and stops the natural flow of abundance in your life.

Forgiveness means to “Give Love.”

Forgiveness allows love and energy to flow back through your life, through that situation and bring you into presence.

Many people have been through horrendous situations in their life and they’ve been able to forgive, to come into presence and let go of the past.

Yet others don’t seem to be able to forgive the largest or even smallest things in life.

Why is this?

Fear. Guilt. Honour. Acceptance. Certainty. Perception.

Know forgiving doesn’t mean the past experience was right, it means you love yourself and honour yourself more than that situation of the past.

When you do CHOOSE FORGIVENESS, it can create a MASSIVE CHANGE & HEART OPENING as the beauty of your energy flows back through you and expands your life.

I’m back from my silence retreat in Bali with H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, affectionately known as Guruji.

This beautiful journey of deep meditation was so profound and I feel  completely rejuvenated on every level.

I’ve made a short video for you to answer some of those curious questions  and share my insights from this journey.

No phone, no ipad, no email, and the cherry on the top no talking.

The journey began with Excitement – Curiosity - Relief

The first step is the physical action of no speech the second is the mental and emotional expression of Silence.

No more idle chit-chat and conversations or so I thought.

That wasn’t the case!

I gained an intriguing awareness of the voice inside my head more so than ever before.

I might have stopped physically talking but that little voice inside my head hadn’t.

This is a little CUCKOO but…

The amount of chitchat and conversations about nothing that I was having with myself in the beginning was highly amusing!

“What shall I eat, where shall I sit, look at that, what shall I do after this”

Then the real fun started...

Discomfort – Pain – Resistance - Fatigue

That little voice inside my head turned up to HIGH VOLUME

The botherations. The story. The planning.

Past. Future. Past. Future. Past. Future.

What if? How? When?

Old beliefs, old habits, old patterns all coming to the surface.

It wasn’t boring.

And then it changed.

Rest – Release – Surrender – Expansion - Bliss

I surrendered and let go and there I was in the Present and in Presence.  The Bliss and Euphoria arrived.

I left feeling completely at peace with all in my life resonating through every cell of my body.

Discover Your Purpose

Do you know what your purpose is, what your true heart’s desire is?

Unfortunately, so many of us take a path through school and university that wasn’t meant for us. Typically choosing less creative careers over more commerce related careers.

Everyone has a purpose and it is time to honour yours.

Today I share with you a technique for your mind and your heart to discover your Heart’s Desire.

First, For Your Mind

Take out a pen and paper and split it into 4 parts and answer the following questions.

My Work Experience?
My Personal Experiences- your travel activities, sport?
Everything I love doing?
Everything I don’t love doing?

Be kind to yourself and write it all down. Truly acknowledge Your Experience and What You Love.

Now for your Heart

Come into your heart centre.
Close your eyes and breathe slowly.
Acknowledge all that brought you to today.
Acknowledge your parents, your family, your close friends. Acknowledge how you chose your current path.

Now slowly ask yourself:
What is my hearts desire?
What is my unique gift?
Gently acknowledge this within yourself.
Feel this and be with this.

Surviving Transition & Change in A Feminine Way

We all experience transition through our life. It is either through our own burning desire for personal growth, for going beyond our current comfort zone or sometimes it is forced upon us..those BIG lessons!

We experience natural transitions from
A girl to a woman &
A boy to a man.

In life we are always being called upon to grow and open.

From school to business
From the corporate world into entrepreneurship
From single life moving into a relationship
And so on...

This transition can feel like we're venturing into a great abyss - the wild unknown.  A new journey on an unknown path.

As we move into the unknown, from an old set of behaviours and patterns to a new set we enter into a place of deep vulnerability.

Your Safety Comes From Within

When we're vulnerable its natural (and sometimes wise) to look for safety. Your old life is calling you back, saying its safe here while your "new YOU" is holding the light of the world of possibility for you.

The lesson here is your safety comes from within. There is no need to retreat back to your old life your Safety comes from your ability to nurture you.

To be gentle, to honour your experience, to stay present and grounded.

Be-Ing Gentle

Be-ing Gentle with yourself means taken care of YOU and nurturing yourself.

This is...
...Allowing your mind to recognise you're experiencing something new - yes you'll stumble and your path may not be direct but its all part of the journey.

...Allowing your body to gently integrate this growth. Breathing through any fear, stress, anxiety, wild emotions and allowing them out.

...And honouring your soul and acknowledging your path.

Be-Ing Grounded

Mother nature is here to nourish and nurture you.

She is always here to support your physical body with air, sunshine, water, and a profound stability.

She is always supporting you gently and grounding you.

Learn to connect to the heart beat of mother nature. Take yourself into nature, lie on the grass, lean against a tree, open your heart centre and take deep natural breathes, focussing on your in & out breathe, feel through the roots of the tree, and become one with mother nature. Feeling the support and natural rhythm of the universe.

When I do this, I stay in presence, I am gentle, and I am able to honour my transition one step at a time.

This aligns me to my essence and my unique gifts.
This aligns me to the here and now.
Not in the future & not in the past.

I also find it helpful to have a special crystal to connect to as a reminder to feel the essence of love and to experience the consciousness of love.

Fill Up Your Love Tank

Connecting to Love can renew every cell of your being.

Don’t run on Empty!

Remember to fill up your own love tank so you’re able to give to others.

What You Need to Know About Your Wellbeing & The Little Chemical Factory

Weight Loss and Your Wellbeing

This is my final week in the US and its been amazing.

But there is a BUT!

I can't help but notice the difference in the quality of food compared to Australia and other countries!

To be fair, I have had some incredible meals but on the days we weren't in the hub of farmers markets and organic food it has been very challenging to find food that did not have some sneaky chemical added.

This is why I'm sharing with you what I discovered many years ago when I was 30 pounds heavier than I am today.

There is a lot more I can share with you on this topic but this one NEVER gets talked about and I can honestly say once you get this and break the habit, you'll be surprised at the results.

Here it is..

You’re Not Fat, You’re Addicted

Unfortunately, there are many chemicals added to our foods to make us addicted.

The #1 undercover offender for making foods addictive is MSG. I was surprised because I thought MSG had been ruled out years ago but apparently not.

MSG can be found in all hydrolized proteins, sodium caseinate, calcium caseinate, yeast extract, corn oil, hydrolyzed oat flour. And its frequently in malt extract, bouillon broth, natural flavors, seasoning, spices and the list goes on!

The problem with MSG is it tells your body you want more, again and again and again and it can also be linked to diabetes.

Break the Addiction Cycle

I realized I had to break the addiction cycle and really move away from packaged foods.

You should know, I don’t shop at the supermarket! There is very little real whole food living in the supermarket

I think of the Supermarket as a “Little Chemical Factory”

Today I shop at farmers markets and eat as organically as possible.

Find food that nourishes you in wholefoods markets or from your local farmers and break the addiction cycle.

Even when I was eating organic whole foods I was still quietly addicted to other ‘packaged’ foods. I was eating foods that weren’t serving me.

Gain awareness from within about the foods you’re addicted to.

With awareness you can tell yourself you don’t want these foods. Remember the chemicals are saying you do.

And Start to truly love your food. When you have gratitude for it you allow yourself to be nourished by what you eat.

Love your food and take control back.

Don’t let food companies dictate what you eat and what you want to eat

Balancing Your Masculine & Feminine

Divine Balance

Within you both the masculine and feminine exists - it is your YIN & YANG energy.

But you run into problems when as a woman you're being too masculine or as a man you're being too feminine.

And in the corporate and business world few women are able to stay in their feminine as they strive to achieve and complete tasks.

Unfortunately when you lose your femininity, you disempower yourself. You move away from being the great nurturer, not just of people but of projects and creativity, and your heart closes to that divine feminine within you.

Supportive Structure and Creative Flow

When your masculine is working for you it acts as a supportive structure for your creativity to flow, to move into creation, and into the physical (in the present).

How do you do this?

You set up your week for creative time and productive time.

Develop a structure that works for you and if you are in a particularly productive phase it is even more important to nurture your feminine so you don't lose your flow and creativity.

Honor your feminine creative flow and allow everything you're doing to be more fulfilling.

Being productive whilst being in your feminine acts as a beacon of light for everyone to follow.

Masculine Presence...

From a Man we want to feel his Presence, Power, Passion and Purpose in life. 

When your heart is open and you are in your feminine you allow this man in. You are able to feel and experience his Masculine Presence and Power.

Intuition & Courage. Say Yes To You

Say YES TO YOU

Your intuition is your innate knowledge and it is coming to you daily.

Some of you will experience it through feelings or visions and others through a deep knowing.

It is your Soul calling you and asking you to take the first step , to see something in a new way, or to end something that no longer serves you.

Gently saying it is time for a change.

And gently asking you to say YES TO YOU.

But fear can rise in your body when it is time to cross a new frontier and change.

And when Fear rises you can experience self doubt and shame. Thats when the little voices in your head start saying “What will others think”, “I’ve failed”, “I’m crazy”, “Who do you think you are?”

In order to say YES TO YOU you need to find your Courage.

Courage takes a great BIG OPEN HEART for YOU. It takes Belief in yourself and Trust in yourself.

Open to yourself, value and honour who you are and say YES TO YOU.

During this weeks Intution & Courage video you will learn to follow your Intuition and say YES TO YOU through baby steps at first before a great big lion-hearted act of courage for yourself.
